The front desk at Expressions Dance is the first thing families experience when they walk through the door. It's also the last. Every interaction in between matters.

Who We Are
Expressions Dance has been serving families in Bountiful and Centerville since 2007. We run two locations, serve 800+ students across our dance and preschool programs, and operate with the kind of systems and standards that families stay for year after year. Our culture is professional, warm, and well-organized, and we protect it carefully.
The front desk is where all of that lands first.
The Role
This is a part-time front desk customer support position. You'll be the first point of contact for current and prospective families, handling everything from enrollment questions and account management to parent concerns and in-person lobby flow.
Hours include weekday mornings 9am-12:30pm and evenings 3:45pm-7:30pm.
What You'll Be Doing
Welcoming families and students with warmth and professionalism
Answering phones, texts, and emails clearly and promptly
Managing enrollment inquiries, trial class scheduling, and preschool tours
Processing payments and handling account questions with accuracy and confidence
Fielding parent concerns and knowing when to resolve them yourself vs. loop in leadership
Supporting studio operations: opening and closing duties, maintaining the lobby, keeping systems up to date
Learning and using our studio software, communication tools, and internal processes
You're a Great Fit If You:
Have customer service and administrative experience
Are comfortable having direct, professional conversations about payments, policies, and accounts
Stay calm and organized when things are busy and multiple things need attention at once
Communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing
Genuinely enjoy being around kids and families
Are detail-oriented and follow through without being reminded
Take ownership of your role and look for ways to improve, not just maintain
This Probably Isn't for You If:
You get rattled when the lobby is full and the phone is ringing. If direct conversations about money or policy feel uncomfortable. If "not my job" is ever something that crosses your mind. This role requires someone who handles all of it, and handles it well.
