MARCH 30- APRIL 3: SPRING BREAK- NO CLASSES: SHOW US YOUR SPRING BREAK SPLITS!

The studio will be closed for Spring Break. Enjoy your time off! Reminder: Tuition is based on the season regardless of how many weeks are in each month. Monthly tuition is calculated based off the total number of classes during the year, split into equal monthly payments.

Show us your best “spring break splits” wherever you are! Tag @expressionsdanceutah in your Facebook/Instagram posts and stories and use the hashtag #springbreaksplits2026

SCHOOL AGED DANCERS... HAVE YOU EARNED YOUR SPLITS CLUB PIN YET?

Keep stretching! School aged dancers who pass of their splits (right, left or middle) earn a pin and join the Splits Club for 2025-26.  They’ll also be invited to a special Banana Split Party on May 28!

APRIL 7: ROLLOVER REGISTRATION IS COMING UP! It’s almost time for Rollover Rally – a members-only perk! At Expressions Dance, we operate on continuous enrollment. That means your child’s membership automatically rolls into the 2026–2027 season, giving you priority placement and one less thing to worry about. Classes fill quickly — especially prime-time spots — so this keeps you ahead of the rush!

Our teachers will carefully recommend and pre-enroll students in the classes that best support their growth for next season. We can’t wait to see them continue to shine! Progress Reports and class placements will be sent home the week after Spring Break.

Your discounted annual membership fee will automatically renew on April 20, 2026

Need to make a change? No problem! Simply submit the Membership Change Form by NOON on April 17 to change or add classes, switch to performance team auditions, opt out for next season. We also offer free class changes through September 1 (pending availability), so if your schedule shifts, we’re happy to help.

WHAT PROGRESS LOOKS LIKE IN DANCE

Achievements in dance can be seen in small ways and big ones, and we advocate for celebrating both!  In our experience at Expressions Dance, progress is much more about the personal wins than it is about the name or number of your child’s class level.  Click HERE to read about what progress looks like in dance!

FALL PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT IS NOW OPEN!

At Leap’n Learners Preschool, your child gets academic preschool, dance, and tumbling all built into one seamless program — no juggling multiple registrations or extra drop-offs. We combine research-based kindergarten readiness with purposeful movement instruction, all taught by exceptional, nurturing teachers in small classes designed for real growth. This isn’t just preschool — it’s confidence-building, skill-building, whole-child development in one place. Spots are limited at both locations, so now is the time to secure your child’s place! www.goleapnlearn.com

FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL DANCERS- MARCH THEME

Every month our lesson plan focuses on learning and mastering several skills. In March our theme is "Leavin' on a Jet Plane." We will be taking off on an adventure to explore a different country each week. We will discover new styles of cultural music while incorporating valuable dancing skills. We are also starting recital routines this month! We will be focusing on: passes (ballet and jazz), toe/heel rocks, balancing, sad faces, chasses, and keeping our hands to ourselves.  We encourage you to get involved and have them practice their skills at home!

FOR PARENTS OF SCHOOL AGED TUMBLING/ACRO STUDENTS

March Stretch of the Month- Lunge  |  Strength Challenge- Handstands facing the wall

We are so excited this year to have a “stretch of the month” and a “strength challenge” in our acro/tumbling classes! Encourage your child to work on these skills at home to help them improve even faster!  Be more involved by printing off the at home practice tracker HERE.

PARKING LOT SAFETY

Please remember the drive through lane at Bountiful is not a waiting spot. When you are stopping the flow of traffic in our drive through to wait for classes to come out, cars back up all the way onto Highway 89 and it’s not safe. Help us by waiting in designated parking stalls and being courteous to other cars trying to exit the parking lot.

PROPER DANCE ATTIRE  & Bun Tutorial

Please review the class dress code requirements and make sure your dancer is dressed appropriately for class!  We cannot provide proper feedback if we aren't able to see the alignment of our dancers. Send your dancers with their hair pulled back (bun for ballet). STARS dancers must wear their uniform, pink tights (footless or convertible so they can pull them up for jazz), and ballet shoes. STARS dancers in 3rd grade and older also need jazz shoes. Please help us by sending your child to class in the right attire.
