Keep stretching! School aged dancers who pass of their splits (right, left or middle) earn a pin and join the Splits Club for 2025-26. They’ll also be invited to a special Banana Split Party on May 28!
APRIL 6-17: ROLLOVER RALLY
It’s time for Rollover Rally – a members-only perk! At Expressions Dance, we operate on continuous enrollment. That means your child’s membership automatically rolls into the 2026–2027 season, giving you priority placement and one less thing to worry about. Classes fill quickly — especially prime-time spots — so this keeps you ahead of the rush!
Our teachers will carefully recommend and pre-enroll students in the classes that best support their growth for next season. We can’t wait to see them continue to shine! Progress Reports and class placements will be sent home the week after Spring Break.
Your discounted annual membership fee will automatically renew on April 20, 2026.
Need to make a change? No problem! Simply submit the Membership Change Form by NOON on April 17 to change or add classes, switch to performance team auditions, or opt out for next season. We also offer free class changes through September 1 (pending availability), so if your schedule shifts, we’re happy to help.

APRIL 6-30: PARENT PARTICIPATION & APPRECIATION WEEK
We are excited to announce our Parent Participation Weeks are coming up and we would love for you to join us. Each class has been assigned one class this month where 1 parent/guardian is invited to come to the last part of class with their student and join in on the fun. This is a great opportunity to see firsthand what your child has been learning and connect to share a special 1 on 1 experience with them.

To help avoid congestion in the parking lot and the lobby, drop your student off for their class, and return promptly just a few minutes before your participation time.
Bountiful Studio: Additional parking can be found along Highway 89 or at the church northeast of our location (3317 S 800 W, Bountiful). Do not park directly in front of our building on Highway 89 or cars can’t see to pull out safely.
Each student is only allowed to have 1 adult attend.
Lower the voice volume in all waiting areas and studios.
Refrain from distractions that will disrupt learning.
Silence all electronic devices before entering our studios. Be present!
Do not bring infants or other children into class.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move stretch and bend in while participating

UNDERWEAR TO CLASS
It's that time of year we would like to remind our female dance and ballet/jazz classes about our underwear rule: female dancers don't wear underwear, they wear tights. A swimmer doesn’t wear underwear under their swimsuits and a dancer doesn’t wear underwear underneath her leotard. We need your help NOW before recital gets here. Let's start working on it so we don't have panty problems at the performance. THANKS!

FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL DANCERS- APRIL THEME
Every month our lesson plan focuses on learning and mastering several skills. This month our theme is “Never Ending Story.” We use our imaginations this month to explore our creativity.
This month we are focusing on: Left and right hands and feet, pointed toes, chaine preps, dance with a partner, straddle on head, excited faces, and showing personal expression. We are looking forward to a wonderful month!
SCHOOL AGED TUMBLING STRETCH OF THE MONTH: Shoulder Stretch | Strength Challenge- Sit ups
We are so excited this year to have a “stretch of the month” and a “strength challenge” in our acro/tumbling classes! Encourage your child to work on these skills at home to help them improve even faster! Be more involved by printing off the at home practice tracker HERE
COMMUNTY CONNECTION
This past month we were able to support the Woods Cross, Farmington, Bountiful, Viewmont, Northridge, Roy, West, and Davis Drill Teams by having our company dancers perform at their year-end showcases. These performances have all been positive experiences filled with love, support, fun, high energy, and excitement! The dancers just love being in front of an audience and you could see it on their faces. We are so grateful for the opportunity to shine on stage out in the community.
