TAP Team Calendar 2026-27:

• Sun, July 26: Applications due

• Sun, Aug 16: Complete online training due date

• Sat, Aug 29: Q1 TAP Training, 1-3pm @ Ctvl

• Sat, Oct 10:  Q2 TAP Training 10-11am @ Centerville and Assignment #1 due

• Fri, Jan 29: Q3 TAP Training 6:30-7:30pm @ Bountiful and Assignment #2 due

• Fri, Jan 29: Recital Choreography Night with teachers (invite only, not all assistants needed)

• Sat, Mar 6: Q4 TAP Training 10-11am @ Centerville and Assignment #3 due

• Tues, June 1: TAP Team Celebration & Assignment #4 due

TEAM LEVELS:  

TAP Team members must show interest in providing quality instruction, be a pre-intermediate dancer in the discipline they wish to assist, or have teacher recommendation.

• Classroom Assistant

  • Grade: 5th grade or older 

  • Role: Assists 1–2 classes per week

• Lead Classroom Assistant

  • Grade: 7th grade or older

  • Experience: At least 2 years as an assistant, minimum 50 hours

  • Role: Assists 1–3 classes per week

• Junior Faculty (JFAC Team)

  • Grade: 10th grade or older

  • Experience: At least 3 years as an assistant, minimum 75 hours

  • Role: Capable of providing quality instruction and classroom assisting. Assists several classes per week, often substitutes for teachers, and is eventually given their own classes

  • Compensation: Tuition credit if still training at the studio, or hired as staff and placed on payroll
